Sunday Morning Worship
What to Expect Visiting a new church can be intimidating. When you visit the Hoover Church of Christ, you will never be asked to stand up, introduce yourself, or do any other activity that makes you feel uncomfortable. We’d just love to have you visit and study with us. We want you to feel comfortable when you visit us for worship services, so here is a brief summary of what you can expect from a typical service at the Hoover Church…
Weekly Devo @ AHEPA 3
Help encourage the seniors at AHEPA 3 apartments. This brief period of singing, prayer, and study will boost your spirits and you’ll spread joy to those living in this facility.
Worship at the Fellowship House
We will be going to The Fellowship House at 5:30 p.m. next Sunday evening, De-cember 7, to serve and worship with the residents there. It’s always been an en-couraging time to bless the people there, and to be blessed by them. Over the next week, we will be collecting toiletry items to provide for some of their basic needs. Please bring these items and put them in the foyer.
Tuesday Ladies’ Bible Class
Please see Denia Petruzella or Leah Covington with any questions.
Young at Heart Fellowship
The Young at Heart will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall on Friday, December 12, for their Christmas party. The meal will be catered; sign-up sheets have been placed on the back rail in the auditorium. Contact Greg and Jean Coker with any questions.
Ladies Cookie Swap
All ladies are invited to the Annual Cookie Swap on Sunday, December 14, fol-lowing the morning worship service. Please bring two dozen cookies (or other treats) to share. Lunch will be provided.
