Clark Baby Shower
There will be a Baby Shower for Alexandra and Torrey Clark in the front lobby on Sunday, February 28, from 2:30-4:00pm. Since they prefer not to know the gender of the baby until the birth, we are asking for gifts of diapers, baby wipes, and gift cards. Also, if you would like to assist with this shower, please speak with Lajuana Logan.
Preteen Devotional & Dinner
Our first Preteen Devotional and Dinner of the year will be in our Fellowship Hall on Wednesday, February 10, at 5:30pm. All 3rd-5th graders are invited to come and be a part of this special event. Food will be provided.
Youth Retreat

Herren Bridal Shower
We will have a Bridal Shower for Kayla Herren, bride-elect to Brent Reaves, in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, January 24, from 2:30-4:00pm. Kayla and Brent are registered at Target and Bed Bath & Beyond.
Kids Movie Night
All 5th grade and under children and their families are invited to a Movie Night at the Hoover church building on Saturday, December 19, at 5:00pm.

Blood Drive
The American Red Cross recently asked us to host another blood drive on Sunday, November 29, starting at 7:30am. In preparation for the Holidays and with stabilization of the COVID-19 response, hospitals are basically back to pre-March need for blood products. The Red Cross continues to enforce mitigations to minimize risk for virus transmission, including social distancing, requirement of masks, capacity limitations, and enhanced cleaning. AHEPA Thanksgiving Luncheon
The AHEPA 3 Senior Thanksgiving Luncheon will be at noon on Sunday, November 22. Members, please bring side dishes, desserts, and drinks; Hoover will provide the meat. There are sign-up sheets on the back rail in the auditorium. Youth: Please don’t forget we need our Youth to help serve the Thanksgiving dinner to the AHEPA 3 residents on Sunday, November 22, at noon.
Schlundt Baby Shower
A Baby Boy Shower is being planned for Karisa Schlundt on Sunday, November 15. The shower will be outdoors if the weather is nice. Please contact April Winningham if you would like to help coordinate this event.
Walk4Water
We’re excited to partner with Healing Hands International again this year and sponsor a Walk4Water to help dig clean water wells in parts of the world where people have no access to clean water. The walk will be at Veterans Park on Valleydale Road on Sunday afternoon, November 1, from 2:00-4:00, with a worship service at 4:00.
