Quite a few things around our building and grounds need some attention, so we would love your involvement in an upcoming workday. Projects range from simple to a little more complex, so regardless of your skill level, you’ll find a way to serve. 2018 Church Planning Services
God has blessed our congregation in so many ways, and we’re thankful for the opportunities to serve Him. In view of that, we’ll make a presentation next Sunday evening that reflects these opportunities. Young at Heart Game Night and Birthday Celebration
The Young at Heart will meet for a Game Night and Birthday Celebration in the Fellowship Hall on Friday, November 10, at 5:30pm. The menu is soup and chili.
Ladies’ Day
The Hoover Ladies’ Day will be on Saturday, October 28, and the invitation is open for ages 5-105. Melissa Lester, our guest speaker, will be sharing thoughts on the theme of “Be a Pineapple: Stand Tall, Wear a Crown, and Be Sweet—a study of Esther.” Registration begins at 8:30am, and we will conclude with lunch at 12noon. If you plan to attend, please sign the sheet that is on the back rail in the auditorium.
Fall Festival
Our Fall Festival will be on Friday, October 27, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. Come and enjoy a night of fun for all ages! NEW THIS YEAR is a CHILI COOK OFF! There will be judges and prizes! We will also have hot dogs, chili, popcorn, candy, a cake walk, games, inflatables, and more!Everyone wear your Halloween costumes, adults included (no scary costumes please).
