AHEPA Thanksgiving Dinner
We will prepare a Thanksgiving Dinner for the residents of the AHEPA 3 Apartments and deliver it on Sunday, November 18. The church will provide the meats, and we are asking our members to bring side dishes, desserts, rolls, and drinks. There are sign-up sheets on the back rail in the auditorium. We also need our youth to volunteer to serve the meal to the residents.
Pre-Teen Devotional and Dinner

Ladies Day

Thanksgiving Food Pantry and Clothing Drive
It’s time to start going through your clothing for the Hoover Annual Clothing Drive! You can bring in coat and clothing donations and drop them off downstairs. Please bag these according to size. No stained or torn cloth- ing, and no swimsuits or underwear.
Fall Festival
We need Volunteers! Our Fall Festival will be on Friday, October 26, from 5:00-8:00pm, and we need your help to make it a success. This is a community event and is for all ages—please invite your friends, co-workers, and neighbors. There will be hot dogs, a chili cook-off (judges and prizes), inflatables, face painting, hayride, popcorn, cotton candy, cake walk, games, candy, and more! Young at Heart Game Night

Mass Media for L2L Meeting

Strong Marriage Seminar
The Hoover Marriage Seminar will be on Friday and Saturday, September 28-29. There is no cost to attend, and there will be childcare for both days. If you plan to attend, please sign the sheet that is on the back rail in the auditorium. You can also see Rick Wil- liams with any questions.

Walk4Water
We’re excited about partnering with Healing Hands International to dig some clean water wells in Haiti! Our goal is $25,000, and we’re almost to $20,000 right now! If we get to $30,000, we’ll be able to dig 4 wells for Haitian communities! Our Walk4Water event will be Friday evening, September 21, at Homewood Central Park Pavilions 6 and 7.
