About this year’s retreat
The 2019 Men’s Retreat registration is free (all meals and costs are covered); we just need to know how many to plan for each day.
Part of our Men’s Retreat this year will be centered around preparing the camp at Backwoods for their upcoming sessions. We will have multiple projects (great and small) that need to be done before they open camp this year. Thanks for your willingness to help!
Friday: A group will be leaving from the church at 7:00am to head to the campsite (if you want to carpool). We will try to start work first thing that morning, provide lunch, then work in the afternoon before the official “Retreat” begins. Bring your Bible/cards/games.
Saturday: We’ll start the morning with a devo, then breakfast before we work on the final touches of the workday that morning. After lunch, we’ll have some free time to play cornhole, do some shooting at a supervised firing range (bring your own guns and ammo), or whatever you choose. We’ll have a final lesson that afternoon before a “man feast” (Daniel Warren’s dad will be supplying his famous BBQ for the dinner).
