We’re excited to co-host this year’s Walk4Water along with several other Bir-mingham-area Churches of Christ! This year’s walk will be at Homewood Central Park (Pavilions 6 & 7, 1632 Oxmoor Rd, Homewood, AL 35209) from 2:00-4:00 p.m., with registration at 1:30 and a joint worship service around 4:00 p.m.
If you’re new to Hoover, here’s what Walk4Water is all about: We gather at a local park and walk together—some for four miles—to honor the millions of women and children who walk that distance every day (often twice) to fetch water for their fami-lies. Tragically, that water is often contami-nated. Every $7,500 we raise allows Healing Hands International to dig a clean-water well for a village that doesn’t have access to safe water. This truly transforms lives.
Our goal this year is $30,000—enough for four wells. You can help by walking, giving, or both. Even if you can’t walk, your support matters.
Register or donate here: walk4water.hhi.org/birmingham-al-2025. Please register ahead of time and se-lect your t-shirt size if you’re attending. You can also give at the walk or share the link with friends and family. Thank you for help-ing bring clean water (and hope) to those who need it most.
